On Christmas Eve we went over to the Buchinsky's. We had so much fun eating the yummy food provided mostly by Heather and discussing all the things necessary to change the world. I laughed so hard I cried and felt the contagious Christmas excitement from all the kids. Here is Ally, bringing in the Christmas cheer.
Christmas morning, Ryan and I slept till about 8:00. We opened presents and then got to work. We had to make cinnamon rolls to eat. Not only because they are yummy, but also because it is a Fisher family tradition. Then we had to pack for our trip to Richmond. I also had to make rolls and green beans for dinner at Mom and Dad's. Of course I wanted to have things put away so we barely made it to my parents in time for lunch.

We had lunch
and presents with all my family. 12 people crowded eagerly into the living room to open presents. Of course Noah and Macy seemed to get the most. I guess that is the advantage to being so dang cute :) Don't get me wrong, I love to get presents, but truly my favorite part is giving the presents I worked so hard to pick out. My dad seemed to love the watch and I know Mom will get a lot of use out of the jeans. I hope Melinda liked the top and earrings. I always enjoy having at least one girl to shop for. We ate lots of food- ham, rolls, potatoes, and all the other traditional holiday foods. Then Ryan and I headed to Richmond. The 3 1/2 hour drive didn't seem as long
as usual. It could be because I fell asleep for the first hour and then watch The Incredible Hulk the rest of the way. (Thank you Ryan for driving.) Ryan's parents gave us more presents and seemed to enjoy the gifts we gave them. We were so tired that evening we mostly just relaxed and watched TV. Friday we went shopping and I got some new clothes. Friday evening we went to see Marley and Me with everyone. Saturday we had our Christmas dinner with the whole family. There were 16 people in attendance, but sadly we were missing Ted and Emily. The siblings exchanged gifts. Becca had my name (yes!) and gave me the coolest sconces soon to be hung on either side of my bed.It was a very hectic and crazy Christmas, but one that made me remember all my blessings.
